XAVIER Q. KANTZ
Producer, Writer, Director

Xavier has produced, written and/or directed features such as “Love and a Bullet,” “Anna’s Eve,”
and Urgency. He’s written screenplays for Scott Free Productions, Touchstone Pictures, Sony
Pictures, Universal Pictures and Lion’s Gate Films. Xavier has released his post-apocalyptic
features, “Wasteland,” and “Project Purgatory,” which were release in 2014/2015. Xavier is
currently developing the martial arts action feature, “The Intermediate” to be released in 2018.

Xavier’s reputation has earned the respect of Hollywood directors, John Landis (“Animal House”)
and Tobe Hooper, (“Texas Chainsaw Massacre,”“Polterguiest”), director Bill Duke, (Deep
Cover, Cemetery Club) among others. Xavier has worked with multi-platinum selling rappers,
Mack 10, Treach, Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep and Xzbit.

Xavier‘s science fiction short, “Contract of Evil” has enjoyed success on the web and has been
translated into four languages. “Love and a Bullet,” an action film that he co-wrote, co-produced and
co-directed, was purchased by Sony’s Screen Gems division, was successful on the home video/DVD
market and has had numerous airings on HBO, BET and Cinemax.
Xavier also directed, “Senorita Justice,” starring Eva Longoria, Edith Gonzalez and Tito
Puente Jr., which has generated strong success in the Latin markets. His film titled “Urgency,”
starring Brian Austin Green and featuring Jeffrey Combs, Luciana Carro and Sally
Kirkland, was recently released to success in South America and in various Latin markets in America
while faring well abroad.

Xavier has just completed, “Steel” for action director Isaac Floretine (Undisputed 2,

Undisputed 3 and 4” and “Ninja,” while polishing “Dead Zero” for producer John Morrisey
(“American History X,” “Havoc”), and co-producing, “City at Bay” for producer Michael
Klawitter, (Scarface, Carlito’s Way.)
